Classic Fusion Media cookie policy: what cookies this website sets and how to manage them

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar technologies classicfusionmedia.com uses, why we use them and how you can control them. It should be read with our privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and our terms and conditions.

What this cookie policy covers

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies let a site remember your visit, measure how pages are used and, in some cases, show you relevant adverts on other platforms. Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies) and some are set by the services we use (third-party cookies).

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

WordPress sets cookies when you log in to the site or leave a comment, so that it can keep you signed in and remember your details. These are needed for those features to work and are not used for tracking.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how many people visit the site, which pages they read and how they found us. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which typically last up to two years. The reports we see are aggregated and do not identify you by name.

Advertising and social media

We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and the TikTok Pixel to measure the results of our advertising and to show our adverts to people who have visited the site. These set cookies such as _fbp (Meta) and _ttp (TikTok). Meta and TikTok process this information under their own privacy policies.

Embedded content

Some pages include content from other services, such as YouTube videos and our Jotform briefing form. Our videos load from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode only when you press play. When embedded content loads, that service may set its own cookies.

How to manage cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox explain how. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop some features, such as logging in, from working. You can also opt out of specific services:

Changes to this cookie policy

We update this cookie policy when we add or remove a service that sets cookies. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
